Les r\u00e9sultats de l'\u00e9tude clinique STEM ont \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9s dans la revue scientifique de renom \"New England Journal of Medicine\" (NEJM).<\/p>\n

Cette \u00e9tude a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que, chez les patients atteints d'un h\u00e9matome sous-dural chronique symptomatique (cSDH), l'embolisation \u00e0 l'aide du liquide embolique SQUID\u2122 de Balt a r\u00e9duit le risque d'\u00e9chec du traitement par rapport au traitement standard seul.
\nSTEM est le premier essai IDE (Investigational Device Exemption) prospectif randomis\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9tudier l'embolisation pour le traitement de cette maladie.<\/p>\n
